The City of Newberry is excited to welcome you to our Summit.  You are invited to explore downtown before, after and all during the Summit.  

Venue Information

The Firehouse Conference Center (FHCC) in Newberry SC is our Summit venue.  Breakout sessions will occur in the FHCC at 1227 McKibben Street.

If you aren’t staying nearby, free parking is available in the three lots opposite the FHCC at the intersection of Harrington St. and McKibben St.

Things to Bring

Your work nametag & business cards; your favorite water bottle and coffee mug; comfy shoes for walking/urban hiking;  sunglasses, and a bike if you want to enjoy a town tour Thursday afternoon.

All meals are on your own at the Summit.  We want to support the many great local businesses in downtown Newberry.  If you are staying at the host hotel, breakfast is included. Bring coffee in your mug or visit the Genesis Hub for the BEST local brews.

Hotel Information

We have a block of rooms reserved until May 24th at the Hampton Inn Opera House, 1201 Nance St., just one walkable block from our Summit venue, the Firehouse Conference Center.  

Please call 803-276-6666 ext 0 and ask for the SC BikeWalkTrails Summit room block special rate, $114 plus tax. (Online reservations may not have access to this rate.) Breakfast is included.

Another walkable hotel option is The Newberry Manor, where innkeepers Joy and Warren Sheppard provide the finest B&B experience.  They have a special rate when you call to reserve and mention the Summit. (not available online) 803-597-5031

Other hotel accommodations in Newberry include the newly renovated and budget friendly Quality Inn and, just off I-26, a Holiday Inn Express and a Days Inn by Wyndham; a Home2Suites should be opening in May.
