Mitchell^TM & Assault on Marion^TMTraining Series for 04/12, 04/26/, 05/10, 05/24 North Greenville University, Tigerville, South Carolina (all training rides are free including food served at the university at the end of each ride.) April 05, 2008 300K Brevet, 7:00 AM, Spartanburg, SC. A scenic and rolling ride through the foothills. Sponsored by the Freewheelers of Spartanburg and sanctioned by Randonneurs USA. For more information: SC 300k Brevet April 20, 2008 The 5th Annual "Best Dam Ride," the ride offers options of 25, 60, 80 mile routes and a 100 mile century option. Also, for the first time this year, there will be a 15 mile off road course on the Historic Bartram Trail. The bike ride is around J. Strom Thurmond Dam at Clark's Hill and covers two states, three counties, and twelve communities. April 26, 2008 Save Our Church Restoration Ride to Benefit St John's Episcopal Church. 20 mile ride around scenic Walhalla, SC Metric Century 100k, ride Kids Rides/Fun Rides registration for all rides 8am 20-mile and Metric Century 10 am St John's Lutheran Church, 301 W. Main St., Walhalla, SC April 27, 2008 Aiken to Ride Century. The ride will consist of 100, 62, and 25 miles loops covering some of our club's favored quiet roads in Aiken County. This ride will benefit the PCC.		May 13, 2008 Bicycle Friendly Columbia, Bike & Bite A brief 35 min. lunch break ride before discussing local bicycling issues. RSVP required for lunch. May 17, 2008 Issaqueena's Last Ride- May 17, 2008 in Walhalla SC a strenuous century from Walhalla with 8900 cumulative feet of climbing. It includes a metric century that does the Whitewater Falls climb. There are 32 & 66 mile rides that do not go into the mountains. . July ??(2008?) Bicycle South Carolina will begin in Spartanburg, with overnight stops Greenwood, Aiken, and Newberry; and then return to Spartanburg.	August 25, 2007 Flight of the Dove Metric Century and 30 mile ride - these rides support hospice of Laurens County.		MS 150 Breakaway to the Beach Bike Tour, 20th Anniversary Celebration, September, 2008. The Palmetto Cycling Coalition (PCC) has a team participating in this event. October ??, 2008 The 8^th Annual Tigerville Bike Trek is ready to roll on October 6 starting from North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC. The Ride benefits the Greater Spartanburg Optimist Club’s Security Blanket Project and the Palmetto Cycling Coalition’s bicycle safety and education programs. Registration includes custom t-shirt, lunch, rest stops and sag support. October ??, 2008, 18th Ride for Raptors- Electric City Cycling Club’s premier cycling event 25, 66, 100 miles from the Pendleton square. Door prizes, a town Festival and birds of prey on display. Benefits the Carolina Raptor Center for the rehabilitation and re-establishment of birds of prey.	November ??, 2007 Pathways Connect's Century 13, 28, 63, or 100 miles. Yemassee, SC. November ??, 2008 Tour de Camden 30 mile, 50 mile and metric century. The ride starts at 9 AM and leaves from Historic Camden, 222 Broad Street, Camden, SC. This ride benefits the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
