Update on Commercial Center Revitalization Act

Last Wednesday, the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee unanimously voted in favor of H. 3604, the Commercial Center Revitalization Act. This is a concurrent resolution that encourages the retrofitting of shopping centers into walkable/bikeable, energy efficient city centers.

The resolution moved to the House floor today, and was swiftly adopted by the full House. It will now be sent to the Senate, where it will likely be taken up in the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee.

Read more about the details of the resolution in last week’s blog post.
