A roundup of latest South Carolina bicycle news from the last week. Things have been fairly quiet on the news-front, probably because everyone is preparing for a big bang with bike month.

3/24/11. The Charleston City Paper ran this story on the first day of Bike!Bike!Southeast!, a three-day bicycle conference that occurred last weekend and was hosted by our friends at Holy City Bike Co-op.

3/29/11. A local paper in the Pee Dee/Grand Strand region reported that road-related fatalities are on track to be low this year.

3/29/11. What is it about the Carolinas and stale plans for outerbelt highways? We’d also like to remind transportation advocates out there that certain elected officials are still trying to build I-73 from the mid-west to Myrtle Beach.
