4/9/11. Short-track mountain bike races planned in Greenville. To view the Greenville Times articles (and thereby circumvent the fee), Google search the title (‘Mountain bike races on the way’) and click on the first listing in the search results. 

4/12/11. The Aiken Standard writes about the annual Aiken to Ride Century, which benefits the PCC and Helping Hands of Aiken.

4/14/11. Bryan Wrigley, a West Columbia, SC native dies in hit-and-run crash in Florida. 

4/14/11. Memorial event held for Bryan Wrigley at the University of St. Augustine, where Wrigley was attending graduate school.

4/14/11. USC and City officials meet to discuss bike/ped safety issues and form coalition. PCC’s ED was at this meeting, also attended by Columbia Mayor Benjamin and USC President Pastides.

4/17/11. Another tragic death of an SC native, in Sumter County.

4/18/11. City of Spartanburg launching a new safety initiative for pedestrians and cyclists, called ‘Reflect for Safety.’
